Patrick Braatz is the Executive Director of the Oregon Board of Dentistry. He will be sharing communication guidelines and offer suggestions that will assist in keeping the dental office "on track" and in compliance. As we all know, information most often begins at the administrative level before it reaches all areas of the office. Learning of the "pitfalls" and obtaining valuable "troubleshooting tools" can make the difference in diverting harmful complaints. A single tip sometimes is all it takes to "shift just enough", get back in stride and avoid devastating results. He will also go over some of the new rules concerning dentists and also share some of the problems they are seeing in dental offices.
